And for old school Transformer fans … Hasbro is re-releasing the original 1984 edition – includes four of the SOUNDWAVE character’s cassettes, two of which have not been released since the 80’s. The cassette characters include BUZZSAW, LASERBEAK, RATBAT and RAVAGE. The four figures fully convert between robot and cassette mode and fit into SOUNDWAVE when in cassette mode.
And BONUS – you get to spend time explaining what a cassette is to your kids 🙂

PS when I met Mark Hamill at Celebration Europe in London it was a 3 hour wait in line for about 30 seconds with him, so be prepared!

soundwave looks sweet… The Hal Jordan figure in each of the Lantern colors looks pretty cool.. Hallmark Star Wars and Star Trek ornaments should be pretty hot items with edition sizes of only 700 and 450..

I just read about that SDCC Soundwave over at tfw2005, very cool. I just picked up the new Soundwave from ROTF. Neat, but nothing compared to the original.
