Are the two packs only at Target? I haven’t seen one at Wal-Mart in ages.
Yes, only at Target and most Target are not getting Cars or very few Cars this year… make it extremely difficult to collect…
Finally saw some remnants of new cases this weekend at Meijer and Target. Stale summer in the midwest. Hoping the fall is better for retail hunting!
I found Road Rumbler McQueen once and bought it right away. I have also seen Sheriff McQueen and the green skinny Salt Flat racer as a single once. I am not able to search as often as I used to but there just isn’t much out there. I have seen the prehistoric pitty maybe 3 times and I think Cave McQueen once. So yeah, totally agree with you.

Lots of interesting releases this year but with Walmart half cases and not getting 2-pack anymore it makes the hunting very scarce. My Targets are quite far from my place. Like you, I am not visiting these stores as much as I use to and with the fuel price keep rising my visits will be even more spaced out over time… at last we have Ebay! Considering all the driving and not finding much… Sometimes Ebay is not that expensive after all! 😀
If it weren’t for eBay, I’d have considerably less in my collection. Over a weekend road trip to Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois, I hit three Walmarts, and none of them had anything Cars related worth buying.
Another disappointing weekend… I did 2 Target and 3 Walmart… The only restock I saw was the same 4 haulers they are selling us over the last 2-3 years… Mack, Marty, Haulstead and Faster. 🙁
You hit the nail on the head! It really doesn’t take too much driving to wind up spending a significant amount if you are just out hunting for Cars. I have gotten to the point where I am only looking for them while I am out shopping. That helps me not to obsess over it and just have a mentality of whatever I find is good enough. Otherwise the fun of the hunt goes away and it becomes an exercise in frustration for me.
Haul ’em Haynes is very shiny. Reminds me of the Endurance Racers from a few years ago
Amazed by the paint we get on a $5 piece of metal. I loved the color shift and was recently able to pickup a full endurance line that I missed during release. Good stuff.
Sweet! I got a couple of the endurance racers but just did not like the color they gave McQueen. It was almost some sort of orange and it seemed all wrong for him. That really turned me off to the line but now I do sort of wish I had gotten more of them. Oh well.
Other than the one set with Deputy Hazzard McQueen and Bela Cadavre, the rest are now available around the country.
Did not see any of them yet… still 2022 2-pack on pegs on my Target stores… 🙁
