Mattel SDCC 2022 – No CARS …
Thanks “MackDaddy” for the heads up on the Mattel page – looks like some fun stuff but no CARS at SDCC 2022. 🙃

Yes, some play sets, color changers and mini were revealed at SDCC but there is no exclusive diecast items only available at SDCC like in the past.
And there hasn’t been since 2017, but there was a panel at least.
I truly miss all those marvelous unique one-of-a-kind SDCC exclusive toys. They are the top favorites in my collection. Along with the D23 Convoy Brothers set, and McQueen’s Biggest Fan RV, they have a special place on my shelves. Will there ever be another D23? Hopefully the Cars line will see another Golden age in the future…but I fear not. Sad. 🙁
No Cars??? Really???… 🙂 the opposite would be a shocker! The stoppage of precision series killed any hope to see more SDCC exclusive Cars… but they still have Masters of Universe items… Go figure.
