The new 2-pack Cruisin’ Lightning McQueen is a “metallic” variant though not called out as such …
It’s also now the “full” whitewall … apparently whitewalls got thinner and thinner … (History of American whitewalls).
Doc Hudson’s whitewalls seem to be a skoosh wider also … but not a huge difference.

A little off topic, but there are three things that I can think of that would have changed the entire CARS franchise as we know it.
1. If Lightning had let his crew put on tires during the Dinoco 400
2. If Lightning had let Mack stop at the Truck Stop
3. If Sheriff hadn’t backfired

1. If Sally did not show any interest to McQueen.
2. If McQueen did not damaged the pavement in Radiator Springs.
3. If Doc did not agree to Sally’s suggestion to fix the road.
4. If McQueen successfully escape the town on his first attempt.
5. If McQueen win Doc’s challenge race and leave the town.
6. If McQueen and Mater did not become friends.
7. If The Fabulous Hudson Hornet was not hiding in Radiator Springs.
8. If Doc didn’t called the media.
9. If McQueen didn’t learn Doc’s tricks.
10. If John Lasseter never did a country road trip on route 66 in 2000 ;-).
Wow-McQueen looks great. I’m very tempted to pick that one up. You know, if I can find it. Possibly.

Yup, I am getting really frustrated to see only repeats this year… 60 cars issues or coming soon and no new one yet!
