Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: The New Cards – Ralph Carlow
A closer look the new cards …
The name is now imprinted on the card (or what’s left, Ralph Carlow) …
Instead of a plastic molded fold piece that fits inside a bubble, the bubble is now the molded piece, saving an extra piece of plastic (less waste for openers) and pretty snug so no chance for the diecast to slide around … the only downside is that it’s hard to stack them as the difference size molds are “uneven” and not uniform to stack them …
But as with the Thailand CARS diecast, quality is excellent. Smooth with a shiny coat. And for Lil Torquey Pistons from CARS 1, 1st appearance with the eyelid line.
I’m just glad this site still exists, so I put up with the occasional mistake. No biggie.
I’m just happy this site is still around. I can put up with a few little mistakes now and then.
To a certain extent I agree, but at some point it literally becomes spreading false information. I don’t think you quite realize how many mistakes have been made over the last few years and how much this site has fallen off. It used to be THE hot spot. Now, you can tell the authors are disinterested with the hobby as they don’t really know what’s going on. They think stuff that came out last year is new or that there is a new Thailand variant when it was new three years ago.
I don’t know if I’d say the quality is “excellent,” considering the contingency sponsor decals are about 60% blurrier than the Chinese release.
That’s Ralph Carlow. You can see the tops of the letters fit that name better.

(MET: Oops, sorry, meant to open the other one).
Here’s Harold “Haul” Inngas. He drives for the Retread team.

Thank you for clarifying. Really a shame what this site has come to… Used to be the best.
Oh, mistakes happen, we’re only human. I’ve used CARS names from memory without double checking and remembered wrong.
I agree, Mad Mel.
But mistakes happen in nearly every article these days… The article before this on the 2022 singles had about four.
