I have seen this twice in the stores recently-one at Walmart and one at Target.
Dear Mattel, May we please have more Cars Halloween characters with removable costumes? How about Sally with a removable black cat outfit or a McQueen with a snap on cow skin? Doc with a smock? The list goes on. But I fear all we will get is Mummy Luigi and Ghost Guido. Very cool though.
Agreed. This is still very cool, though. It’s also similar to Cupcake Lightning McQueen.

Does anyone have a pic they can share of Cup Cake McQueen with his shell off? I never opened that one. I figured they would have attached it to his head like the cactus on McQueen.

I had seen cupcake LMQ once or twice at Walmart and passed. Now I regret that. Oh well. I really am drawn to the more unusual releases.

Ones like Galloping Geargrinder, Komodo, any of the Rusteze fans/rusty cars, the Thunder Hollow demolition racers, The Pope and Popemobile, Father Burke and Cardinals Antonio & Angelo, the Monster Trucks, Heavy Metal Mater, Music Video Mater, One Eyed Mater, Blowing Bubbles Mater, things like that which are not a typical release.
