Another racer I’ve been looking for. I have one I found on E-Bay that must be a factory back door of some type as it clearly has decals but it is very well done. The other clue is that it does not have the printed production date code on the chassis.
I got this last year before I saw they were re-releasing No Stall so I would like to have an official one, but it’s all a matter of finding it in the wild.
(METL If its made in Thailand, it has no date code as it’s a Mattel plant so they don’t need to track inventory as closely – just a part number).
Is that why the cars don’t have 0001EAA on them anymore?
(MET: Yep, before, a 3rd party plant had to keep match of the completed diecasts that day (the date code) to match costs/payout, et al but as a Mattel plant, no need …).
