I just picked up the Jackson Storm and Bumper Save Haulers the other day. They look great! Also on the shelves were the Wally Hauler, Cars 3 Mack Hauler, and a whole bunch of Endurance Racers. No mainline singles, 2-packs, or NASCAR.
Is the Cruz/Dinoco Hauler the playset one? Or did they release one like the other, more canon, Next-Gen haulers?
I have seen the Cruz semi but only as the playset, not as the smaller hauler. (Shoot, that rhymes!) I looked over the pictures closely on Walmart.com and on the Cruz hauler there is no seam running down the middle of the trailer indicating that it would open. So my guess would be that it is a hauler like the others. Met did say above the picture that it was the “NEW Dinoco Hauler” as well.
I guess we’ll find out when we see it in the wild or when any pictures are posted here.
Good point about the seam. Cruz’s hauler has a nice paint scheme, though I think that the Dinoco Dino needs to lose a few pounds!
Follow-up, why does it have legs?? I thought this was the world of CARS?
Wow-nice catch on that! As an avid fan of Pixar movies of course it is referencing the Dinoco gas station from Toy Story but I never gave the picture of the dinosaur a second thought. It is very difficult to think of any Cars character that had legs instead of wheels. The only possible ones I can think of are the helicopters and they had struts, not legs.
Personally, I would like to see a Next-Gen Easy Idle, Shiny Wax, or No Stall hauler released. I think those schemes would go well on a hauler. And, aren’t ALL these haulers hard to find?

My local Walmart (Wisconsin) has Wally Hauler, Mack (the hauler and the playset), and June Faster #21 Blinkr as well. They had SnyrG last fall and I convinced myself not to buy it as I am trying to keep my collection to a reasonable size. Now of course I kinda wish I did have it. Yeesh. I also didn’t realize that the haulers are exclusive to Walmart. Are they available anywhere else?
(METL Yea, they are WM exclusives now).
As far as I know I never saw any haulers at any other stores except in one or two occasion at T.J. Maxx or is was at Ross, I can’t remember but that is really rare.
Hmm…new guy and this is disappointing. I was hoping to be patient and find these on the shelf. No dice? I stubbed my toe on Synergy this month so maybe I got lucky? Best of luck to you! Really nice haulers.
