This is a WALMART exclusive. Apparently, there may be “real” NASCAR drivers in this series? There is some official tie-in with real NASCAR races, contests and other events tied in with 15th anniversary of CARS. The NASCAR season is just starting so more details to follow.

So are these the NexGen racers in the movie or just a series like Road Trip etc?
They are a series like Cars On The Road, Ice Racers, or Carbon Racers. There were about 11 or so, very well done too!
Unfortunately Mater has a plastic bed and segmented plastic front.
The plastic colour looks so different from the shiny deep red.
Not so nice 🙁

Nice! I really like the new paint scheme for Lightning.
I’ve been seeing these on E-bay within the last 10 days or so. I have not seen them at any Walmart yet. I’m mainly interested in the pit crew members myself.
On a side note, I spoke with a Walmart employee on Saturday the 6th about a Cars toys shipment as the pegs were virtually empty. She was very helpful-she scanned the UPC code of two different single packages and told me they were expecting a shipment on March 6th. MARCH! I was pretty surprised. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Do they get shipments once every 6-8 weeks?

(MET: There is no real set schedule … the NASCAR series should hit pegs soon as the Daytona 500 is this weekend? It has its own SKU/UPC – March is probably the singles AD case? There is also a 2-pack case coming soon).

March 6th make sense. Target are having a sale 3 cars for $10 until 2/20… of course there is no cars on the pegs… so no deal to be done!… Need to be patient for another month I guess.
