There is a new subline within the Mainline in 2021 … “Racing Red” and its first release, Mater …
As nice as the “metallic” blue Brand New Mater … maybe we’ll get all the colors of the rainbow?

Has anyone seen any of the racing red cars on store shelves? I haven’t and unfortunately have overpaid for some of them on eBay and Mercari. My son really wants them for Xmas but I’m not willing to spend the $80-90 on Mater from ebay…Any suggestions of how to snag one would be much appreciated!
I have only seen two on the shelves ever. They were Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm. One at Walmart and one at Target and I believe the only reason I saw them was that they were put out not too soon before I got there. I guess just check whenever you can at your local stores. Sorry I don’t have any better tips than that!

I was hoping when I heard it that the Racing Red Series would be cars in the Rust-Eze Racing Center wrap. Like Mater in the end credits of CARS 3! Too bad…
Four have already been confirmed to be Dinoco Cruz Ramirez, Francesco Bernoulli, Jackson Storm and Sally.
Not bad I got 2 out of 5 (Jackson and Cruz) and I will be shocked if the fifth one is not McQueen! (I wanted to list Sally but I changed it for Chick…)
