It looks like they are continuing the numbering scheme without starting over again like the past few years.

While the 5 above are NEW Mini Racers, it looks like some of the Mini Racers previously available in multi-packs and box sets will finally be assigned a number like CARS 3 Leak Less Brian Spark, Yellow Ramone, Jimbo, etc … an updated numbering checklist will be issued when these arrive in the US.
