The re-release of Fightin’ Face Mater is more than an eyelid line variant.
The 2020 version,
The CARS 2 release, different eye position, the bomb is slightly different and while I have to dig my up, I’m presuming the 2020 is a unibody with the tow hook bed is metal while the 2012 one has he plastic tow hook bed.

You are correct. I picked this up recently and it is the metal unibody.
I do not like the new design. Full metal is cool but the “print” has a low resolution so it is pixely (as we say in Germany)
Compare the remainung time on the bomb to see what I mean.
