They also have some other Next Gen Racer singles not yet out in the US, we will probably get these from Mattel but it’s still fun to get a preview of what they will look like as diecast.

Yeesh, that Lightning McQueen is going to give me nightmares.
One plus in this development. It means Apple was willing to license the name to a toy maker — so perhaps Mattel will be able to finally release Apple iCars in their line too.
I’ll go out on a limb and state these will likely be Takara’s usual “box scale” where the box is about 7.5 to 8 cm long. Closer to 1:64 than 1:55 when all is done.
