The GM Motorama Exhibit of 1956 looks to the vast distant future of 1976.  🙂

Some things are finally coming true in 2018 … self driving, sort of just like in the video. There is SIRI though in the video, it’s a guy in a jumpsuit sitting in a air traffic like control tower. And he looks like he wouldn’t tell him you a joke if you threatened him with a bat … or tell you the lyrics to IT’S A HARD KNOCK LIFE.

Apparently in that 1976, there’s hardly any traffic … they did miss that there would be gas shortages.

AND they open up a mini fridge in the car for juices and ice cream.

Of course now, Amazon will deliver a lobster and diecast CARS direct to your car (you do have to be stopped though).

There is a lot of singing apparently in the distant 1976 … not much disco or THUNDER ROAD – more Mitch Miller.

At least GM is still around not like Pan Am taking us to the space in 2001.
