A nice case with lots of Wave 2 releases.
No Super Chases/Chase singles but still a nice sampling of Wave 2 releases.
In some ways, a twin of CASE T– also no posters.
DIFFERENT from DXV29-993L – this is DXV29-999L (yep, confusing but they have their reason?)

I’m bummed. I can’t find these anywhere. Looking high and low! Where is my best bet? Or are they just not out yet? Also how does one order a case from Mattel?

I don’t know who to blame, the stores or the distributors, I used to work in retail and understand how auto stock ordering happens, where the system sees how much stock is left vs how much keeps the shelf “full” and it orders when it gets to a certain qty SOH based on sales pattern. Our main retailers Kmart, Big W and Target are all fairly low for weeks but still nothing new
Toys R Us on the other hand usually get new stock on a biweekly basis but when the Cars 3 range was launched, they had a big display in their front “internal window” and used about 20-30 cases (wave1) to fill it to make it look good, but also another 20-30 cases (wave1) to keep it stocked up. This display only lasted a week til the next big thing went up. So as they have 50×24 single cars SOH they won’t be getting anything new for a while.
Do you believe Mattel make it on purpose to have the distribution this way… if yes, what a strange way to promote Cars 3 products…. I also did not see any other singles or 2-pack since the first wave… common Mattel feed us! We are starving !
Don’t feel bad. I’m east of the Mississippi River in the USA and haven’t seen ANYTHING new at Target since release day. Walmart just received the demo derby cars with accessories, but theres only been about 20-30 other singles releases we don’t have/can’t get without paying ebay premiums.
I’ve seen these on eBay, and am soo tempted
But I know that once I pay the premium price stores in australia will get them in before they arrive at my door… we haven’t had any new cars since the first release
