Disney Pixar CARS 3 was the #7 movie of the Summer – making nearly $150 million in the US.

The first animated movie to crack the list, “Cars 3″ was able to top the box office its opening weekend. It’s also the 18th straight Pixar film that was able to earn over $100 million. In terms of the critics, “Cars 3″ was considered a marked improvement over its predecessor. All is well in Pixar world.

It’s technically over $150 mm with the addition of the Labor Day Weekend along with nearly $200 mm overseas – it’s at $192 mm but it just opened in China.
