Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: The Townies 2006 Changes to Townies 2017
In 2006, Mattel ran an ad introducing diecasts for some obscure movie called CARS.
Not sure why Sarge was missing but I added him.
So, if you started collecting in 2006, only a few diecasts have escaped unchanged. Chick, Guido, & obscure character Tractor. Fillmore and Doc Hudson haven’t changed much except for a sharper mold.

i’ve got versions of chick with sharp and dull mold lines. esp noticeable at the intakes in the front bumper. i think the bottom detail is different also.

(MET: Yea, should’ve added Wingo also – he’s relatively unchanged – though he was finally fixed to have a better color face on his mouth so 2 for him).
