I had those posters! Back then, I saw SW 38 times from opening day until mid-November. I even managed to sneak a cassette recorder in on my final two viewings, and recorded the first and third half hour, then the second and fourth half hours. Based on that, I determined that St. Louis had the alternate soundtrack (there’s a very minor difference in the Death Star “office” when 3PO explains how to disable the tractor beam — our edit didn’t have 3PO’s voice-over.
(MET: Pretty cool. You heard about the “despecialized” versions?)
