Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: 2016 2-Pack CASE C Diecasts
Coming soon, CASE C 2-packs features … Dan Sclarkenberg + announcing partner … Jeremy “Hotrod” Malo.
Thanks for the nice open photos, “Mack_Me_Bucko.”
AND Artie returns with HIS announcing partner … name unknown for now but way back in 2009, artist Aroldo made his own custom … (actually, Aroldo couldn’t wait for Artie also so he made his own Artie. 🙂 ).
2-Packs for 2016 updated to correct an error HERE.

Apparently we’ve been had. Someone must have self-edited a Wiki and gave the character the name “Jeremy Hotrod Malo” — when the packaging shows it is actually “Kim Carllins”.
The white pickup for Artie’s assistant is “Brian Fee Clamp”.
The mailman just brought me a package from China. I am happy to say that the truck here known as “Artie’s Assistant” is actually NOT Duff Wrecks with a headset. The new truck is approximately 20% larger than a Wrecks/Hallsum/Lassetire pick-up truck body, and is new tooling.
Are the Grey Pickup and the light blue Cuda from Cars 1?
(MET: Yep).
I noticed snapdragontoyz eBay seller has some new Planes diecasts in package
Yalk Llah in Propwash Junction (new)
Rochelle in WATG (re-relesse)
Sun Wing in WATG (re-release)
Judge Davis in a new theme called “Race Start” (single debut)
Yalk Llah. Or backwards, Klay Hall, the film’s director. Cute.
Judge Davis has had a single release, just not in the main line. He was included in the round holiday card releases a couple years ago.
A night flyer Dusty version show up this weekend on this seller site… (not on card yet tough)
I did some (very quick) research a few years ago, and found that in the past, the real Artie Kempner had worked with an assistant director named Brett Crutcher on some broadcasts. When I made my own “white pick-up with headset” from a Duff Wrecks, I therefore named him “Brett Clutcher”. Now I am really curious to see what his name actually is!
