Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: 2016 Deluxe Cards Arriving + Variant
Thanks “Michael VN” for the nice photos of the new Deluxe CARS and cards.
Taia Decotura is the most important arrival – the first ever official US release.
AND for completists, a new unibody Lighting Storm McQueen.
Previously with a segmented mouth.
Frank is back again – now a pegwarmer. 🙂
Cardbacks all together – nothing really new, all re-releases though Galloping Geargrinder was hard to find back in 2012 so nice he’s back.
Thanks “Michael VN” for the nice photos of the new Deluxe CARS and cards.

Saw my first Taia in a store last week.
I saw this assortment more than two weeks ago at the Wal-Mart on Union Avenue, Tacoma, WA and bought two each of Taia and McQueen.
I have never seen Frank in the wild in all my collecting years. He is a phantom to me.
I want Taia so bad I can’t stand it. Topeka KS is a freaking cars desert.
Good luck to everyone. I ended up paying up on ebay last night for the clown car 2-pack. Ill never see those guys out here.
You’re not alone. If it weren’t for eBay, I’d never see 90% of what was released. I was visiting friends in Keokuk, Iowa a few weeks back, and was shocked to see actual Cars like Harvey and Doug RM on the pegs! I never see that in St. Louis.
I did actually find Winnie and Linus Lines at Walmart so Harvey is no longer alone. I also found that corn cob girl plane which Id never even heard of from the festival. My TRU has the SAMairI airport shuttle thing if anyone needs him He has been warming the pegs there for a month. Just let me know and Ill grab it for whomever says something. Trading would be even more fun.
I don’t get why Mattel is re-releasing the same diecast instead of new ones… so far the 2016 diecast are all the same.
There are a lot of Cars that can be release from Cars and Cars 2, and don’t think is necessary re-release the same diecast which was released last year and there is stock available yet..
I guess Mattel firmly believe there is new collectors every single day !!! …Hmmm… maybe they are right ! 😉
