Disney Pixar CARS Toon: Japanese Promo DVD
Tomy Japan is offering a free DVD with purchase of @2000¥ of Tomy CARS products. (@$17 at today’s exchange rate).
It comes with two shorts: “Radiator Springs 500 1/2” and “Time Travel Mater,” along with some Tomy CARS advertising.
Japan is the NTSC standard so the disc should be viewable.
“Radiator Springs 500 1/2” is available in the US on disc if you buy the plastic large scale Lightning McQueen. I don’t think the Time Travel Mater short is available.

Japanese DVDs are NTSC, but they’re Region 2. You’ll need a Japanese DVD player or a regionless player like a PC or if you know how to access your player’s service mode and change the region.
(MET: If you don’t mind watching it on your laptop (or stream it from your laptop), creating a digital rip deletes the regional coding).
It has any menu or something like that? or the shorts start playing instantly? and where did you get this? can you post some more pics and screencaps? (of course if you have it XD)
(MET: It’s a DVD available only in Japan – Disney Movies App offered a few shorts but they rotate them. I haven’t checked recently if either are both still up. You can buy a digital version of Time Travel Mater on iTunes).
