Did you know the Ewok World section of the movie was supposed to be Chewbacca’s Home World but it was too expensive so they went with Ewok’s instead.

when you say “Ewok World section of the movie” do you mean the ewok village on the forest moon of endor?
when you say ” Chewbacca’s Home World” do you mean kashyyyk?
i had never heard of the “too expensive” reasoning.
wikipedia states:
According to interviews given by Star Wars creator George Lucas, the original home planet of the Wookiees was the moon of Endor which plays a key role in the plot of the sixth film of the series, Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.[1] However, Lucas decided that since the Wookiee Chewbacca was clearly proficient with advanced technology (i.e. he was pilot and mechanic of the spaceship the Millennium Falcon and he repaired the damaged droid C-3PO), it would be confusing to show the Wookiees with a primitive, “stone age” culture on Endor. The Ewoks were created instead to populate the moon and to help fight the Imperial garrison stationed there.[2]

And I always heard that they simply couldn’t find enough really tall people to portray the Wookiees, whereas they had an available troupe of little people to use with industry credentials already.
