How do you know that they are plastic?
The Mattel poster says that Racer Dusty is a normal diecast, plus there is a diecast Racer Dusty on Amazon.com
(MET: just this particular series is plastic).

(MET: Well, not me personally at Walmart. My closest has a lot of Vanilla Wafers but not much else. 🙂 ).
