Hot Zinc Diecasting
In case you’re wondering what the hot zinc diecast process looks like, here’s an example.

The machine that makes diecast toys is not quite as factory-industrial looking but it’s much more fun to see hot metal being poured …
Of course, this video isn’t of diecast CARS but you get the idea – just imagine instead of that giant metal thing created, it’s 8-24 CARS on a stalk that is broken off, sanded and painted …

Yes, it’s an oddly inflected computer translation of the original Polish narration.
It’s also not zinc die-casting, but aluminum; they list the four specific alloys well into the film (though it is the same general process and still representative).
