Mattel Disney Pixar CARS & PLANES: SDCC 2014
“Rob (My 7 Kids)” sends along nice photos of CARS & PLANES at the Mattel booth.
There’s INTERVIEW FRANCESCO – clear some room!
And a nice 2-pack of Allinol Chemists, Jessica Giampetrol & Nate Stanchion
Coming soon – Alfredo the Ambulance. It looks like they replicated the poster in 3D diecast form.
BTW, the Holley Shiftwell with Screen is a variant. The graphic on the screen is different than last year’s graphic.
Of course, the Paris CARS are all new. It does look like Henri Motisse does have an easel with his painting.
And PLANES, ‘Ol Jammer on card. Good deal as a single.
Cad Spinner & Pulaski the fire engine.
First diecast look at Dipper … Ryker was previously revealed … like the current deluxe line, he has a moving part.
It looks like we will get a non-Ransburg metallic, non-glow in the dark Shu Todoroki that lights up as a single.(of course, the SDCC SE version is Double Ransburg, Glow in the Dark and light up underneath & headlights).
Other Mattel diecasts include Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy diecasts.
And a life sized version (built on a Corvette) Darth diecast … (looks just like the 1:64 scale diecast).
Thanks for the great photos, “Rob (My 7 Kids).”
I just really want the entire Paris Tour set. They all complement each other perfectly. Dipper looks really nice!
So at SDCC they announce the cheapening of the Shu they are selling for $25?
Seems like they should have waited ’til after SDCC to intro the other Shu.
Perhaps now that we are getting this “awesome” Francesco variant with opened mouth, they’ll splurge and make a closed mouth variant of Timothy Twostroke? (snark)
Awesome, thanks for the photos Rob.
Note that Louis LaRue STILL has the paintbrush molded alongside his right front wheel! (You can just see the tip of the paintbrush if you know what you are looking at).
I wouldn’t call it a paintbrush. It’s more like Nate Stanchion’s “pencil” than anything else.
The one I have here in my collection had a brush — I cut it off the frame, since the character in the film doesn’t have brush or pencil or whatever it is supposed to be representing.
Jealous of Rob and anyone that’s at ComicCon. Ol’ Jammer look very nice.
