Batman ’66 TV Series Finally Coming to DVD-Blu Ray!
Coming in November, all 120 episodes of the Batman 1966 TV Series coming to DVD, Blu Ray or Digital Download.

And if you’re at SDCC, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will reveal more about the set’s extras at a Comic-Con panel on Thursday, July 24 from 6:00-7:00 PM in Hall H. Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar will be in attendance on that panel.
Something tells me if you’re planning on attending this panel, you might need to line up at around midnight Wednesday.

Hopefully West, Ward and Newmar and any of the surviving villains (are there any surviving villains ?) do a lot of commentary.

It’s also good to know that Burt, Adam & Julie are still with us. This release is a bit early to mark the 50th Anniversary of the show, but why wait?
When I was in the army in 1966, I had a stateside assignment at a small installation. There was a group of about a half dozen of us who would order up pitchers at the post bar on Wednesday evenings and watch Batman overcome evil.
