Mattel Disney Planes Fire & Rescue: Pitty’s in Name Only – They’re HUGE
Here’s a nice size comparison if the Smoke Jumper Pitty’s have not shown up in your neck of the woods.
Blackout is the only Smoke Jumper that’s close in size to nearly all other – and obviously much smaller.
You can compare him to Dusty.
Or Lightning. Blackout is about the height of Muggsy Liftsome but as you can tell, the other Smoke Jumper Pitty’s are more like RED.

For the record, I stopped by a Disney Store this evening to grab a “Skipper” on sale — and bought the Planes Fire & Rescue Deluxe Figurine Set (ten plastic pieces including all five Smokejumpers). They are really nice! Four of the Smokejumpers feature movable arms — Avalanche, Drip, Pinecone, and Blackout. And those four scale far better to Mattel sizes as well … I’ll send some pics to Met tomorrow, perhaps he can wrangle them into a post.
It seems that Mattel did not know how to market the Planes pitties, they’ve only been available in the tent gift sets so far. For the latest Planes movie the marketers probably asked that only larger vehicles be featured.
Can we stop calling the jumpers pitties? Most skidsteers are big, heavy pieces of equipment. I have no comment on Maru because it doesn’t really look like a “real” vehicle that I know of…
Maru could easily pass for one of the larger forklifts used in sawmills or other material handling industries.
what about maru, compared to dottie! Easy pass for me too!

Thats why these pitties need a huge cargo plane.
Wonder if Mattel will have a diecast for that cargo plane
These are more like Chuck & Friends — easy pass.
YEAH…
I agree, these fall flat to me.
