Mattel Disney Planes Fire & Rescue: Pitty’s Not Your Older Brother’s Pitty’s
At first, it seemed the new Smoke Jumper Pitty’s were too small to be included in the regular singles lineup (CARS Pitty’s generally either came with accessories or were doubled up) but thanks to “Mack Me Bucko,” we can see they are new generation of Pitty’s like Muggsy Liftsome, Pitty in name only. Kind of like NFL lineman today versus 1955 …
Marv, the mechanic Pitty lined with Dottie and of course, Guido.
Marv compared to Lightning.
It’s not a pity that the new Pitty’s are HUGE.
Sized and scaled.
Thanks for the great pics, “Mack Me Bucko.”
Here are the on-card pics – coming next week?
Amazon says shipping June 1 – same with Walmart.

These Smoke Jumpers shouldn’t really be considered pitties. In our world, skid steers are usually larger and heavier than road cars. The last Bobcat my company bought weighed over 7,000 lbs IIRC.
Not sure how I feel about the large scale of Avalanche and Drip.
I got all the new planes vehicles today and the smoke jumpers are enormous, they can’t possibly be in scale to Dusty.
While I’ve been driving around the past few days I’ve been keeping my eye out for typical Bobcat style skid-steer loaders either on wheels or treads. They are typically taller than the average car by a little bit, so the Smokejumpers aren’t too out of scale to a “Cars” car — and Maru is typical of the really big fork trucks used in heavy industry — so I’m thinking these aren’t too far out of scale.
Mayday is by far my favorite! He looks great next to Red and Chug.
Managed to get these at my local TRU, they were in the back and not quite in the system yet. But they helped me out and sold them to me. The blue pitty’s name on the card is Maru not Marv.
(MET: Yea, I always thought Maru was a typo on a list but I guess it’s really Maru).
Our local Target (Central VA- same store with 34 Verns!) has already set up the Fire & Rescue endcap with singles ($6.99), deluxe talking Blade Runner and Cabbie (both $24.99), Dusty plushes, Dusty water pickup, etc. I picked up Mayday, Firefighter Dusty, and Drip!!!
They also had at least a case of Neon singles out (all except Shu)
I don’t think Neon Shu has been released as a single in the US. Only in the multipack. Most listings for Neon Shu at the popular auction site are from out of country.
That blue car with the bumps on his back doesn’t look like it rolls very well…pass
Cube’d Rod Torque Redline?
I figure we all have a Lego block around to show scale comparison!
The new pitties look so nice. Avalanche is my favourite so far!
