Mattel Disney Planes Fire & Rescue: Singles on Card Preview + Case A
Here a nice preview of the PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE cards to look for in the next few weeks. Can’t hardly miss them – nice & bright. It looks like the new Dusty look (first card) is now known as Firefighter Dusty. And not Dusty with Pontoons but Pontoon Dusty.
Open detailed look of the PLANES (and vehicles) HERE.
There is also a PLANES 1 Leadbottom in this case.
There is a wholesale price increase so my guess is retail price is at least $6.99 – $7.99 minimum and of course, some retailers will add another dollar or two to these.

I found these at Walmart (North Carolina) last night for $5.86. Picked up all but Chip and Mayday.
Thanks for sharing! I went to my wm because of your comment and they had 2 cases hanging on the pegs for me to choose from! Not a bad price either!
I just received some Chinese back-door models of Drip and Blackout. They’re freaking huge compared to a normal Car. Drip (#36) is 2.75″ long, 1.625″ wide, and 2″ tall. He is a one piece metal body, with plastic add on parts for the treads/rollers, the blade and arms, and the hat. Blackout (#25) is the same length, 1.5″ wide, and 1.75″ tall. He has a one piece body with softer plastic add-ons for the arms and saw parts.
They’re really cool, but pretty huge if you put them next to a LMQ, and they’re going to dwarf Dusty.
The F&R singles are now showing on Amazon. Bummer that Mattel is charging larger planes die-cast prices ($8.99 on Amazon) for the Smoke Jumper characters (glorified pitties or at least no more metal than a Cars single)
Chinese back-door lists three smoke jumpers so far — the smallest (Blackout)is 70 mm long, the largest (Avalanche) is 80mm long. So I’m guessing these are not scaled to match previous pitties.
So all-in-all (or should that be Allinol?); 2014 looks to be a good year for collecting. All the new Cars, now the new Planes 2 characters … life is good, even if Mattel distribution still sucks.
DO these have a street date??? Cannot WAIT to see them!
(MET: Maybe around Memorial Day?)
June 1st seems to be the official shelve and release date. (Amazon and Toys R Us)
These look great. My kids are going to freak out.
The TRU iPhone app still shows the items but if you attempt to select one, the query turns up ZERO results for the item number… Bummer
TRU online is also showing pre-sale for Cad Spinner, Ol Jammer, and Pulaski
http://disneyplanes.wikia.com/wiki/Cad_Spinner
TRUs o/line has several of these for 5.99 (regular 6.99).
Pre-Order for end of May shipment(s). I searched under “planes fire rescue”
and they popped up.
Hmmmm . . .
I tried that and several other searches bur all I found was
