Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: More Haulers + New Tokyo 3-Packs
NascarBronco sends along photos that the Haulers are back at WM.
Wally Hauler & Dinoco/Gray – The King Hauler.
Also the return of CARS 1 Mack Hauler … these look like the last release (tent background, Themes card design) – not sure if all WM’s are getting a refresh shipment or whether it’s the new random arrival of the plan-o-gram listings.
But there is a new 3-pack – Streets of Japan with Kaa Reesu, Dragon Lightning McQueen & Yakoza. Yakoza was recently available as a single but the eye position looks like the 2009 release. I’m presuming the Dragon Lightning McQueen is the one with Oil Stains – as it matches that expression. It’s hard to tell but presumably Kaa Reesu is still segmented – as they just re-released Manji (same body) as a segmented face re-release also (plastic bumper mouth). But if he is a unibody, then he’s a variant.
Thanks for the nice pics, NascarBronco.
More showed up today – 4 of each – Wally – Gray and Mack

These are $14.97 in the USA? They cost $24.96 in Canada! Grrrr.
Although more expensive in Canada, it is actually available to you!
These are shelf warmers near me now. They have been around for a while.
I was hoping for something a little more new.
In central VA, we’ve had this 3-pack since the Toons singles were re-released but absolutely NO haulers (not even shown on planograms) among 6 WMs, including a Supercenter in Richmond!!!
I’ve seen these at a couple stores during the past month or so. The assortment actually looks to be:
3 Mack 2 Wally 1 Grey
As usual Mattel shortpacks what would probably sell best. Mack & Wally were just re-released a couple years ago, but not Grey.
I had just watched the lady put them out. She would not let me photograph the carton.
looks like 6 in a case, 4 Macks, 1 Wally 1 Gray
they are 4 per case
2 mack
1 wally
1 gray
That is incorrect — Haulers have always come 6 to a case.
these had hit quite a few Walmarts in South East Michigan maybe 2 months ago, they didn’t fly off the shelves too fast, I still see a few stragglers once in a while, a spare Mack here and there

This 3 pack is not new it has been out since January and it’s probably just getting to him. This is bad, if Mattel distribution is this bad it’s going to be a long year. Wow
you would be right brian, I was no less stunned.
