Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: SDCC Neon Racer First Look
“MacQueen from France,” sends along nice photos of the SDCC Neon Racer Lightning McQueen.
Yes, diecast.
This is “Toon Radiator Springs” look. (Shorts HERE).
It does look nice in the dark – it won’t cause you nightmares, will it?
Or is the $50 price for him and Neon Shu scary enough? 🙂
Well, I hope I’m wrong on the price …
Thanks for the nice photos, “MacQueen from France!”
Heads up: First of Two Hotwheels were released today:

I do have a list going for these as well
Putting the finishing touches on a webpage for the Buyer’s List…
I will not need to send you individual invoices. Please watch your emails.
Anyone wanting to pay by check/money order needs to contact me immediately.

An email went out to the Buyers List just a few minutes ago to reconfirm / finalize your order of your “Payment options” – “Quantity” – “Quality”.

To be crystal clear: this is where you can OPT OUT. Once out, there is no returning to the Buyers List.
It seems hotmail / outlook has an outage. Be patient with replies back getting your orders on the spreadsheet confirmed.
Are the decco stickers?
On our Target Neon Lightning the “RADIATOR SPRINGS” on the rear wings reads correct looking from the front of the car. But the logo in the middle is oriented the same way, towards the rear, as the SDCC car shown.
Meh.
To put this twin-pack release into perspective, the DS Light Up Tokyo Set look so much better, and at 7 cars came in at under $50 in general release. Compared to either the Star Wars Cars or the fantastic D23 Convoy Bros, this is really lame.
SDCC = Such a Disappointment for Collecting Cars
couldn’t agree more with you, the Tokyo tuner set from DS does blow this away, and it doesn’t even compare to the Convoy Bros from the year before!

This does look pretty cool..gonna hold off on em though. The price will plummet in a couple months after release….
MacQueen from France and Met: thank you for the post.
That’s pretty cool, I’ll probably still hold out on this one for the price though. Hopefully now they’ll release the Tales from Radiator Springs LMQ as a normal diecast.
