RELIANT ROBIN…Err Nope!
It’s a RELIANT REGAL.

Here in the United Kingdom the Reliant Robin is a more famous model name but the Regal is far more famous in our culture as it was the mode of transport in the long running classic BBC TV series “Only Fools & Horses”.
It’s not a rollover, they just get sleepy!
Thanks, Met, for an interesting article. It provoked my curiosity:
According to Wikipedia, the last known manufacturer of this car was under license by a company called B&N Plastics in July 2001, but stopped in October 2002.
Perhaps it is appropriate that it is now made (under license) by Mattel!
Also, according to Wiki, “Tomber”, in French, means “falling”.

Actually it’s according to L’Académie Française
They do roll over all the time. Top Gear UK did some funny segments on these. One where they are driving around town and it keeps tipping over, the other they make a “space shuttle” out of, then do a scale model launch of it and try to fool you into thinking it is the full size car they launch.
Love this segment:

How do these not roll over all the time?
