Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecast: Clown CARS San Diego Comic Con?
The CLOWN CARS were once listed as “Super Chases” but perhaps they just got lumped in that list based on their production run?
There is a rumor they will be available as a box set at SDCC … it certainly seems logical and make more sense to sell these as a box set. If it’s these 5, I would guess $50.
These were shown off at the Petersen Museum so the prototypes are/were done.
Of course, technically, there are 6 Clown CARS plus Flea & Flik.

My “2014 SDCC general email list” started last year, which most of you were on… it covers hotwheels MOTU, Barbies and other Mattel releases and just SDCC in general… but I am splitting the list and moving everyone who SPECIFICALLY and ONLY wants info and updates about the “SDCC 2014 Clown Cars Buyers List” from the 2014 SDCC General List.
In the next few days I will send out a TEST email for BOTH lists to be sure YOUR email works, and the group works on my end. You might get two slightly different emails.
Each list email will have a different subject line and will have a different one or two line statement.
However, You can remain on both lists if you wish if you are interested in other items from SDCC.
You also may OPT out if you wish. Once you OPT out, there is no returning to the list.
Again…
Once the item(s) are confirmed at SDCC and price, LINE POSITION IS DETERMINED BY WHO PAID FIRST.
“Call for Payments” will happen when we know for sure what is going to be released and at what price point.
NOTE: I DO take payments by personal check, United States Post Office Money orders, cash in hand or sent well hidden in an envelope, and of course Paypal.
Some of you paid for SDCC and or D 23 stuff last year by check and or money order, cash and you were sent a receipt with a scan of your payment.
This worked well last year and this will be the same thing this year.
Lastly: I WILL BE CLOSING THE LIST SOON. Maybe as soon as April 15th, 2014

I bet you they make the sixth clown and up the price between $72-$90.($12-$15ea).
Or, set of 5 and make a Super Deluxe Extra Limited to 500ea 6th clown…only available if you buy 4 sets of 5 clowns and know the secret hand shake etc.
Or a standard set after SDCC without one of the cars

Yeap. Most of the time SDCC stuff is special packaging. Special accessories also sometimes.
$50 just sounds too reasonable. I bet they consider them deluxish and price the lot at $100.
Off topic but just an FYI Leroy Traffik is available from the Radiator Springs Classics line at TRU now. Finally have him in my collection! (He’s still a two piece model)

As usual I will be going to SDCC. The wife and I have our tickets and ready to go. If you want any of these sets limit 2 per person, per USA address.
Overseas buyers are slightly different to accommodate multiple overseas traders/combined shipping.
Items are cost plus 11.00 each item, plus shipping costs +10% over shipping costs to you. This covers boxes, packing if we need to buy more packing.

Aren’t clowns supposed to be sad?
None that I’ve seen. Mostly annoying. Maybe they are just mourning the loss of their 6th member.

I’ve always thought these did not make sense as Super Chases and made more sense for SDCC. Bring on more Cars 1 new castings please.
