It looks like maybe the Pixarians wonder what happened to the Pixar in Disney • Pixar CARS?
The first singles cases shipped with the designation DISNEY CARS …
But as “Quercy” notes, it looks like they have gone back with the new case? At least in Europe? Or also “fixed,” in the US?
Interesting.

Guess what I think I got part of case W at Walmart yesterday! I got Wingo with Flames, N2O Cola, Sidewall Shine,Spare O Mint that have the World of Cars crest or ribbon above the car. Which was about the only way I could tell Theme 2013 & 2014.
Now, I had seen the kooool ones in International card backs that didn’t have the WOC ribbon above the car like the rest of the new 2014 ones that had been released. Now I have Sarge with Headset, Doc Hudson, Nigel Gearsley with Flames, Chisaki, Lubewig, Mel Dora do all with NO ribbon /Crest but the Disney – Pixar words.
SO if you look at the backs the 1st releases have 2014 on the left side of the card in red. The new backs on those I just listed have no date, yet in the black area at the bottom the info panel has 2013. ARE these those transition Card Backs from Theme 2013 only released late with the tie in to 2014 because the back has the NEW 2014 THEMES. Like on the Mel Dorado back it has Lee Race, Wheel Well Guido, Mel Dorado, H.H.Piston cup McQueen and Water Mater which I thought was a 2013 release. Now I am confused. Thebreezz
