Actually, in Bruce McCalley’s excellent book on the Model T, he does point out that you could get the Model T in colors at a point in time, but the colors were a very dark blue, a very dark green, and a very dark red (all were almost black) — and all faded to black very rapidly.
Sure, just like the Model “T” Ford; you could order any color you wanted, as long as it was black !
But this WalMart posting, at least to me, appears to be an improvement over the dress code policies of years past. I worked at our local WalMart 13 years ago (when the store first opened) and we all were required to wear the company issued blue “smock”, the color of which looks like the “lightest” on the scale of choice.
