Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecast: Neon Racers 4-Pack Look Close
The Neon Racers 4-Pack seems to hitting most Target stores but as “John H.” notes, look closely if quality control is an issue – if your kids will be crashing them into each other, it might not matter as much to you.
The packaging looks great but yea, in the 5 boxes at this Target, at least one of the diecasts in each box had scratches or visible paint dings so look carefully.

Notice these aren’t “World of Cars”….????
Shu single is already for sale on ebay from the UK which had the Neon single racers first.
I really like Shu’s paint. These look really cool, but ENOUGH REPAINTS!
Standard issue racers
Kmart RT racers
Kmart Silver racers
Target Neon racers
TRU metallic racers
Target Charge Ups racers (not diecast)
Am I missing any? How many more ways can they release the same racers?

Maybe if you combine the TRU Metallic Racers, the Kmart Rip, and fill in with the Target Neon racers, you might have a complete open set of Metallic colored WGP Cars. I think I might do that instead of try to collect all 11 of these. Stinks that Mattel can’t complete an exclusive line of anything. Almost makes me want to just sell all my Cars, buy a MSOTS off eBay, and just be done with Cars altogether.
Will all these be on singles cards too?
Looks like Shu is the odd man out…all others on singles…got em again Mattel!
Shu is supposed to come as a single in the second case. Cost of the four pack equals 4 singles so if you’re an opener there’s no reason to wait other than the quality issue.
