I was in Japan during this time. Can’t believe I missed out on it. I do remember the biggest toys that year were Yatterman and Phone Braver.
Look at the haulers at the 1:59 mark. On the bottom shelf. They look like the Cars 2 haulers done in the piston cup decos.
Rare King with black wing variant?
Perhaps a prototype plastic part on a production diecast? Remember though that the Tomy Cars are quite a bit smaller than Mattel Cars.
