Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Mach Matsuo Arrives in Europe
Thanks for the great pics, “Anthony C!”
Arriving in Europe, Mach Matsuo, Shu’s Crew Chief …
Hi-Diddily-Ho! (Ned Flanders not included).
He’s awfully large – I mean, a giant chunk of metal is nice … but the iconic Datsun 240Z is not a large car …
Presuming Shu is a Typical Le Mans race car, he’s about 183″ in length. The real Nissan-Datsun 240Z is about 163″ long.
Thanks for the great photos, “Anthony C!”

That kooool French web site with all the pics of cars in thier blister pack also has another 2pm the Couple kissing or what not & the new bus Emanuel. Such a great site. I started seeing Emanuel on eBay two days ago and today I went to Walmart and wow they had one. I know this should be on found on store shelves but I’m here so maybe other members might seeing them. It is under sized but so kooool.well enlightened from Nebraska. But why does the U.K. get all the 1st releases. Thebreezz
Emmanuel measures 5″ long, 1.5″ wide, and 1.625″ tall. So, it’s undersize, but it is a really cool vehicle.
When might we see some new cases? It feels like forever since the last ones. Will CTT be ordering?
(MET: Mattel has not released any new diecasts since mid-December).
I meant CTC! As in Children’s Toy Closet. Whoops.
I was afraid he’d be way out of scale. I like my Tomy one with the Shu putty.
erik laneley/nick cartone, david hobbscap/victor paveone are large as well. i wonder how the size of this mach compares to the disney store mach.
I don’t mind Cars out of scale. More metal is always nice to me.
The case is composes with Mach matsuo & Citroën also…
Someone found the Citröen pack as well in France.
Love the 240!
No way to spell Mach Matsuo in Greek?
I got one from the Chinese back-door a month ago, and he is HUGE. I actually already sold him on, in favor of keeping the Mach Matsuo I made by taking a Takara Tomy one and adding a modified headset from a leftover David Hobbscap. On the other hand, the sculpt is really nice, and the graphics beautiful, but he’s still massively overscale.
How big is he? He measures 3- 3/8″ long (85.7mm); 1- 3/8″ wide (35mm); and 1- 1/8″ tall (28.6mm). If Met’s length number is correct, he is actually 1:48 scale almost exactly. That’s only 114% of 1:55!!
I’m adding this to my tradelist now. I’d be more than happy to trade someone overseas for one.
Anyone in the U.S. care to wager that we’ll never see this?
Lol can’t wait. Like the Lego guy
