I’m guessing it is a legalese move to further subsume any Pixar identity into the Disney parent company. You will be assimilated!
Is there a legal or commercial rationale behind the removal of the Pixar name?
I get the “World of…” change as I suppose it’s kind of an expanded universe brand thing.
Well, Pixar didn’t produce Planes so I guess technically they can’t put the Pixar name on merchandise for it. Hence Disney only.
