Disney Pixar CARS: The Costco Wood CARS Radiator Springs Table
“John H.” found a wood Radiator Springs playset and table.
This is marked from a company called KidKraft, of course, TRU offered a private label series of wooden CARS in the same gauge as Thomas the Train/Brio, etc …
I’m guessing the TRU exclusive ended or TRU is only selling off the remaining stock so this company has taken up the wood license? These don’t look as cute or detailed as the TRU ones.
But it is a nice all-in-one set for toddlers.
And while it’s not very canon …
When they grwo tired of it, you can grab some nice elements to use as your diorama. 🙂
Looks like there’s a full setup at every Costco. Thanks, “John H.” for the nice photos!
Does it work scale-wise with the Mattel die casts?
(MET: Should be same as Thomas the train – whatever scale that might be)
My son’s Thomas the Tank Engine table now has a Monster Truck arena set up on it.
I just keep telling myself do not go to costco, you do not need this, you have had two train tables in your house in the past and neither one was played with!! I wish this would have been released a few years ago when the toys r us wooden cars came out! I purchased all the cars for my son and the track pieces they did have at toys r us along with a train table to put them on but sadly my son never took interest in it. Had this been available at the time I think he would of liked it better and it would have been cheaper and looked a million times better than a few radiator springs buildings on a random train table!
