A little weird the holiday CARS of 2013 have already leaked out but for many, it’s a lump of coal … and a slap in the face …

So Holiday Hotshot McQueen is NOT a unibody upgrade.
Sally looks essentially the same from the last release. (that is just a black decoration line, she’s always been a unibody – same insert windshield as before).
It’s black paint Sheriff not dark green Sheriff as was the release one year.

As for the Reindeer? It was promising in August 2012. They were supposed to be 6 to a box and even had a UPC … but then they disappeared and have not returned … so I guess between now and 2020, it might get a release. The only hope is it shows up in a retailer exclusive box set which is often not listed … but then that just means it’ll be super hard to find so it might be best just to wait it out.

Found all the christmas cars at Carsland last weekend (Sheriff was hard to find.. wasn’t there the first day, went back on monday and they re-stocked a few) Price was $8.95 each. I picked up Sally and Sheriff, I had the others.
Just picked up a set at Carsland as well (11NOV13). Was told that Sheriff is only one per box, which probably explains the relative rarity.
Are these a Target exclusive? Or TRU?
This is welcome news! I missed the Christmas Cars the first time around … and still need some at less than collector prices.

There’s a different set of Xmas releases out there also. (Someone posted a picture in the forums.) Non-Christmas lenticular re-releases in white Christmas packages.
Maybe these green package Cars are international only? Seems odd Mattel would do two series of Xmas Cars.
Maybe the lenticulars are for the naughty kids. 😉

Wow, I’ll need help with finding three of those. Still need Doc, Sally, and the black version of Sheriff. The prices for Snow Day Sally will plummet with this release, just like many others have this year.
The black Holiday Spirit Sheriffs I have are in the 2009 Mater Save Christmas Target 6 pack. I don’t recall if the black was ever a single. the green globe Sheriff was from 2010.
Santa needs his reindeer.
The black version Sheriff was a single in the Storytellers collection and the globe version in 2009.

This is good for the people who are still missing Sally. I don’t think I have a black Christmas Sheriff either. I think our’s is green.
I guess Sally is Sally in all languages.
Would be nice to see a reindeer and Santa set.
They should also do an Easter set with the Easter Buggy, Mater w/ Easter basket, etc.
