Disney Infinity Has Launched
While I haven’t got the time to full explore this new Disney Interactive realm, if you want to send along a review …
This was our post on how it works.
BTW, this is the incorrect price – it should be around $12.99 to $15.99. But thanks for the photo, “wraukn.”
You can also check out more videos and links to the other CARS games pieces HERE.
Thanks, “wraukn.”
Thanks for the heads up on this Met. After looking into the Disney Infinity world more I believe this will be one the biggest things to ever happen in video games. This is going to be huge.
This is Disney flexing their muscles and about to make a video game fortune. The amount of workers and time devoted to designing this is something only Disney could do. I have heard they are already committed to a minimum of a 5 year run. The possibilities are infinite hence the name. Early reviews are great and every kid I know that has Infinity love it.
All things Infinity are going to be red hot this Christmas season.
I think Disney Infinitys good but a little to fast moving.Skylanders has more of a limit of where you can go and when you can go.Both figures are constructed pretty well but I just can’t choose what’s better.
Toys R Us also has an exclusive crystal Lightning McQueen figure that has exclusive powers.
I missed out on the special McQueen, dang!
TRU has a 20% coupon that is good for the game pack, video game w/3 figures.
Buy one, get one 50% off characters & buy 1/get another for $1 power discs.
Target has 1/2 OFF their 2 character/w playset packs. McQueen/Holley & Lone Ranger set.
Kmart has Buy 1/Get 50% off single characters.
It is quite a bit different from Skylanders. Each character has its own world and accomplishments to go through. Two characters can play in the same world, although I haven’t done it yet. I think it is a lot more expandable and more to do than Skylanders and buying extra characters doesn’t seem like a necessity.
I have the ps3 version, and it is pretty glitchy so far. I’ve spent the most time in Radiator Springs (obviously) and Monster University. I just started playing around with Pirates and it seems fun.
The Disney store has been selling the figures on line for some time now so I checked out the videos and some articles. I have seen all good reviews. It offers two ways to play but the toybox is the most appealing. It seems the established characters will win the kids over but when you enter the toybox you can tap your own imagination and creativity. That gets a thumbs up from me.
We pre-ordered this from Amazon, back when we thought we were getting stationed in WA. Now that we’re in Germany we’ll have to wait a few weeks for it to finally come in the mail. I really miss Amazon Prime!
