Mattel Disney Planes: Next 3 Gift Sets – Walmart Exclusives
Looks like the next three Planes Gift Sets with Pitty (and Tent) are Walmart Exclusives:
Ripslinger … one of the first 4 PLANES Gift Sets revealed but now we know it’s a Walmart exclusive.
Of course, Walmart also thinks this is Bulldog.
Ishani gets a Gift Set & Pitty – the Pitty even has a Bindi! 🙂
And a previously un-revealed character, the Italian PLANE – while Walmart calls him Artouro, his wings actually read Aeuro so it seems the name on his wing trumps what WM think his name is.
The three are listed as “out of stock” but generally that’s easier to code in the system versus “coming soon,” as they do not take pre-orders.
It’s hard to say when they will arrive but since we still have about a month before the movie actually opens – presumably this will arrive around that time as a refresh reminder. Drop us a line if you spot these in stores or online.
If you still want to pick up the sets already out – Walmart.com seems to have the best price for the box sets – $11.97 – with FREE SHIP to STORES or a local FedEx Office – which can be convenient if you’re already there or close by.

Kinda bummed about these being WalMart exclusives, I have the worst luck there!

I saw Yorkie at my local KMart yesterday. Dusty did look the same size as the singles release (they didn’t have any singles, so I couldn’t put them side by side). It looks like a cool set, but I’ll probably wait for my kids reaction to actually seeing the movie before pulling the trigger on something that big.
So Mattel can sell this random plane that has never been seen before, but they can’t sell Rochelle.
I wasn’t going to get the tent sets…until I saw them in the store. They are really neat. We have opened Dusty. I probably need to get another Dusty because my kids fight over him.
I still haven’t made the decision on Planes … but if I do Mattel … going to HAVE to go with these gift sets. Very cool!
This is weird. I spotted the Ripslinger Gift set @ Target, though the pitty looks different. It is all green!
