Mattel Disney Pixar CARS: 2013 Themes Singles Case J Already in France?
While we have only just gotten CASE G … David V. & “Moquin” have found this at TRU in Paris … the equivalent of CASE J in the US …
The next CASE H is still a few weeks away and CASE J is the “twin” of CASE K with the Super Chase so presumably again, non-US markets will NOT get the Super Chase …
There are also parts of CASE G. This beats my TRU to pieces.
And of course, all the PLANES stuff not for sale until the 28th is out …

London Cars (Maurice) arrive in France before America. Wow.

I wish the TRUs in the UK were as well stocked as that! Sometimes you wonder whether they are the same (international) company. TRU in the UK is a pretty dated looking store and is in need a refresh!
Mattel were issuing similar assortments up to US case 999G and UK/European case 997V.
It would appear that the first set of ‘twin’ cases, even the one withough the first Super Chase is not coming to UK/Europe, so the equivalent cases to US 999H/J/L have been reassorted.
No one has been able to confirm the actual contents of what are thought to be cases 997W and 997Y.
The UK is still seeing cases 997P/Q/R/U and now 997V. (US 999B/C/D/F and G).
Deluxe and Doubles are cancelled in the UK although some may make an appearance in time for the Christmas market, but which time, all the serious collectors will have got them from the US.
The Cars Take Flight series wasn’t released in the UK, which is supposedly the biggest toy market in Europe.
The Radiator Springs Classic series only appear occasionally. They sell out almost immediately and don’t get restocked for weeks or months!
Great photo showing a great Cars assortment… it’s been months since I’ve seen anything close to that… and a great Planes assortment as well.
