Disney Toon Planes: New Trailer Finally Compelling
This new trailer FINALLY makes PLANES compelling. The first pretty much shows Dusty flying around – how exciting is it to watch 90 minutes of a single engine cropduster? Then while the last sneak peek with Dusty flying around with Echo/Bravo, the Navy jets was nicely done, it looked pretty sparse – finally, a worthy trailer that actually makes you want to see the movie.
The only thing missing is dialogue but perhaps that is a good thing with Dane Cook as the lead? 🙂

Oh wow, now I know there’s going to be a slew of new Planes diecasts to collect! Still keeping my fingers crossed for a Concord character… Maybe Planes 2?
I’m getting sucked in… I’m doomed once the kids see this.

Really liked the ‘Pitty Statue of Liberty’ and the ‘glider cranes’.
I have to say, this trailer makes the movie look pretty good. There appears to be no violence, so better than C2 already!
I must admit that the new trailer does make the movie look much better than I thought it would be. Although they’re going to have to do more than that if they want me to collect all the diecasts.
I agree. My whole family is beyond excited for Planes and I will certainly be compelled to “collect them all” but, honestly, I’m NOT very excited about the diecasts themselves. That El Chubbawubbie (or whatever) who’s leaked on to the auction sites out there looks like a giant flying banana to me. Like, yuck. It’s the ugliest diecast plane I’ve ever seen. Maybe he will grow on me.Â

But it looks like there was a casting change (for the worst).
Maybe Disney felt John Cryer had too much Charlie Sheen on him.
But I’d take Charlie over Dane Cook in a propeller’s turn!!
