There is a new mystery Rip Clutchgoneski listing.

Of course, there is the single version of Rip already released (and coming back in cases coming in 2013).

It’s widely presumed the next Kmart CARS Day (#10) will include a silver metallic Rip Clutchgoneski (June, 2013).

But interestingly enough, a second Rip Clutchgoneski has been added to the regular singles list … most likely a silver metallic painted version …

Why is this more likely a regular release and not a Kmart CARS Day #10 CAR?

Two reasons:

Disney seems very intent on launching a Silver Metallic backstory & sub line plot. We have the Silver Stunt CARS launched already and of course, the other 10 racers are all available in the silver metallic look.

A rubber tire release of Rip would be in the only one in the regular line so it seems more likely the next Kmart CARS #10 exclusive one-time release will be a regular paint Rip with rubber tires.

And so the new listing of Rip to the “regular” lineup is the silver metallic version?

AND already out in Europe, the silver metallic Hudson Hornet Piston Cup (decal) Lightning … (thanks for the great photo Dekiac/David V)!

AND this Lightning McQueen was also added to the regular US singles lineup so if you had to bet the odds, it seems more likely we will get more silver metallic CARS in the regular lineup and that the next KM CARS Day will be a regular Rip with rubber tires … but it’s just a guess so far – the KM CARS Day in June is likely to beat the other” Rip single out which probably isn’t due until late Summer.
