Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment Series at Entertainment Earth
If you’ve been having trouble finding the Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment series, Entertainment Earth has full cases in case you want to go that way or split a case with someone …
A sampling of the series (not in each case – check out the case assortment at the bottom of each case assortment below) … of course, Hot Wheels under-produces these … how could they predict people would want the DeLorean Time Machine or the Ghostbusters ambulance? 🙄
… okay, what is that orange & red van from?

At least some of these have already been out as singles. I have the BTF DeLorean, A-Team Van, Ectomobile and Knight Rider, and I’m sure there have been others that simply didn’t spark my interest.
On the subject of entertainment (but a different kind), yesterday I found a really cool Hot Wheels car which most of us have probably driven at one time or another car; a bumper car ! Here it is on eBay (not my auction):

They should have done TC’s helicopter instead. That is more recognizable than his van.
Of course they could always do a helicopter series as well.
Airwolf, Redwolf, Santini Air helo, Blue Thunder, TC’s helo, MASH helos, Hind gunship from Rambo III, Apocalypse Now helos, Daily Planet helicopter from Superman(I still have my Corgi one), and Zero Dark Thirty ‘stealth’ helos come to mind.
And the retro series isn’t complete without Street Hawk, Automan car, General Lee, Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino, and Fall Guy truck. Possibly even CHiPs bikes.
Squad 51 from Emergency!
(MET: That would be a cool one).
I’ve seen (and purchased) case A, case H, and case B at stores… the full cases contain 16 cars and split very well among 3 people… case B had 3 full sets of 5 with one extra car… if only Cars cases would split as well.
Not every Walmart, Kmart, TRU, or Meijer is getting the same case(s)…
These all look like Error Cars with no eyes.
Here is Wave 1 too:
(MET: Added, thanks John!)
HEB and TRU and Walmart here are completely sold out. Batman and Ecto 1 were the hottest one of the first waves.
TC’s VW van from Magnum PI. Island Hoppers was his helicopter service.
