Previously had a mouth/expression that was a plastic bolt-on – now sporting the exact same expression and eye position but ALL METAL diecast body – UPGRADE!
The rest of the car appears to be exactly the same (even the cone position seems to be laser precise. 🙂 Finally, space age technology put to good use. 🙂 ).

I made a Salley with cone for my son out of the cone that came with McQueen. He seems to like it just fine.
I thought Charlie Checker’s tail lights were ANOTHER varient colour. Maybe i didn’t look close enough, but they looked orange.
Thanks to Met’s great post, I went to Walmart before work today and bought the 2 McQueen with cone that I saw on the pegs and left during lunch yesterday… I’ll open one for display and put the Final Lap version into the area for my grandchildren to play with.
I suppose I better check out Nitroade and Charlie Checker from the C case to see if they too are variants.
