Toys R Us CEO Steps Down…Sort Of
According to Reuters, the CEO of Toys R Us has stepped down but will remain as Chairman.
The executive in question, Gerald Storch, is a former Target exec as well.
One wonders just how much the poor stocking assortments that have appeared for Cars had to do with the decision. 🙂
This quote from the Reuters story says it all:”There was a lot of pressure on him, there was a lot of finger-pointing. ‘How did he mess up 2011? Why wasn’t 2012 better?’,” a source familiar with the matter said.

Apparently the Dream Halloween CARS Display was in the building lobby and not in good condition – maybe someone will help them make a few extra bucks this quarter and take it off their hands? :-)a
