YouTube Video Finally Explains the Whole Holland, Dutch & Netherlands Thing
Finally, a nice video that explains why the Tourist Bureau wants you to visit Holland but the people who live in the Netherlands think we’re crazy when we call their country Holland – even though they seem okay with us calling them Dutch and not the Netherlanders.
AND in a strange twist, it explains the age old question that if there is a New Zealand, where is Old Zealand or Original Zealand … It’s in the Netherlands! (old-original) “Zeeland.”
